2003 HD Increase?

I am negotiating a deal with a local dealer on a ordered 2003 HD truck. He says the price just went up $168, anyone else here this? I'm not surprised since Dodge will probably getting some disgruntled Ford buyers after the 6.0 fiasco.

I notice on the Dodge site right now that the base MSRP for the 3500 SLT QC SB, 4WD SRW truck is now listed as $36,300 . The base MSRP from my print out I did at the end of January is $35,505 for the same truck. Looks like they are going up.

Tim B
There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and
those who don't.
http://home.epix.net/~timb
Re:2003 HD Increase?

The price went up in Canada again. My truck would be an extra $500 now.

Re:2003 HD Increase?

I took delivery of my truck at the end of February. Since then the base price for a 2500 QuadCab SLT 4x4 SB has gone from $38215 to $38620. The auto and the 6 speed transmissions have gone from $1395 to $1445. The anti-spin differential has gone up $65 to $395. These increases total $520. There was also a price increase in late December or early January. These numbers are all from the People's Republic of Canada.

They are now offering $2500 for the Standard Cab only. See Dodge web page.

Not too many want that one.

Nothing made in Mexico should go up in price.

Just got back from Galveston Texas. There is a dodge dealer in Lafayette LA that has at least 6 3500's sitting on the lot. He might be ready to deal. I checked out the web site and everyone was made south of the border.

http://www.acadiana.fivestardealers.com/?redir=1

Dave

Re:2003 HD Increase?

I just ordered a 2500 4X4 SLT SB 5sp manual on 3/14. Invoice base price went up from 26,717 to 27,240 (up 523) from the first time I priced them - now I know why they upped the rebate from 1500 to 2000 - they're getting it and more right back in the base price!!
