Have a bit over 25k miles, and the visor just dropped down the other day. I had to quickly it rip off of the shaft that it was on as it wouldn't stay up. Dealer says they're back ordered and won't be in for a week. I added a couple of screws, fender washers and nuts to act like clamps to use it in the meantime.

 

I had the same thing at about 5k miles!
