100k report

Just turned over 100,000 miles on this last trip so I thought I would give some "long term" feadback. First and formost, this has been the most trouble free vehicle of any type that I have ever owned (now 60 years). I had the alternator bracket replaced when it was a month old (don't remember the TSB number), new shocks at 85,000 and new front outside U-joints at 90,000 miles. Tried two different "fueling" moduals but both gave problems after about 20k so I pullled them out. Tires, oil and filters. THAT'S IT.
Belt and hoses look great and brakes still have at least 20k in them. We put sheepskin covers on the seats when it was new and I will need to replace them in the next few months.

What more could a person ask for?

Sorry, I forgot two tail light bulbs, one at 70k one at 95k.

Good to hear.
Only two issues with mine so far but I only have 40k. Cracked fittings on the hydroboost lines and just recently the keyfob died.

Don't forget to keep an eye on that belt tensioner. I lost mine at the worst possible moment - 3:am Saturday morning (weekend) @ about 20* F temp. Never heard any warning grinding or squealing - just froze and popped the belt!!

That is exactly what I don't want to have happen. Maybe I should change the belt, hoses and tensioner now. It would save a big headache down the road. Any sugestions on a good brand? Gates maybe?
