Talking '07 front conversion

My '05 Ram 3500 got banged up in June, so I took that opportunity to do an '07 conversion. Liked the truck before, but now I am in love

Glad to see you got it all worked out after the accident. The look of the new sheetmetal is starting to grow on me as well. I know a couple of folks on here have upgraded as you did but no one ever states what the final cost is.....what was the $$$ damage for the new skin?

Truck looks great

Thanks bro. I am not certain what everything cost but with the frame being slightly tweaked and other misc parts being damaged, it came to a grand total of $5280 dollars. Now if a vehicle had no damage and simply wanted to do the conversion then a new hood, fenders, grill, bumper and headlights are all that are needed if you stick with a 2500 or 3500 truck. I believe 1500's are a different animal as far as mounting. The new look has motivated me to change the tires and rims to something more aggressive. Maybe 22" Alcoas.

Wow what a difference! Looks very nice.

My very first thoughts were "New rims needed now!!"

Some Alcoas would be awesome be even some nice stock sized aluminum rims would really change the look.

Some 22.5's would do it justice!!!! Heck, I work for Alcoa, get a discount on their stuff, and I still can't afford their wheels . The oldest kid graduates high school this year, the youngest one still has 16 more years to go.......soooo, I figure when my trucks a dinosaur, then I'll be able to upgrade the wheels .
