Not sure if that's the case in your situation, especially since it's summertime, but did you have the system set on defrost or heat?
Not sure about automobiles these days, but in years past, when your vents started blowing a (moist) fog it was usually a sign the heater core was going bad and starting to leak. Just a thought . . .

I second the heater core idea. My F-150 blew fog one day. A couple days later it spilled water all over the place.

My AC has been mediocre since day one as well. As someone else said, the fan goes like gangbusters and the air seems cold enough, it just doesn't seem to blow as hard as what it sounds like. Would that be a broken recirc door?
I'm getting ready to take it in for some other warranty work, a leaking cab marker light and the performance/white smoke flash. Maybe I should have them look at the AC too. The only other thing that's bothered me about this truck is my seats get water stains at the drop of a hat like all the other '06s.
other than that, I love my truck!

I got the same problem (fog out from vents). The system is low on freon.I want to replace the door in the evaporator but the problem was the low freon.I just add a can of freon and now everythink is ok now.

'06 A/c Issues
Well after several months of complaining about my A/C I finally took it to the dealership. Told the service guy that the A/C would work fine and then start blasting warm air.... Told him it didn't matter what the weather conditions were or the type of driving I was doing. Totally random behavior.
Tech took the truck to the back and ran diags and found a P1274 code (A/C control circuit 2 open) stored in the computer. He wiggled the wires on the engine side of the A/C clutch connector and duplicated the problem -- YeeeHaaaahhh!!!!! He told me that there was a know issue (TSB or what I don't know) with the A/C clutch connectors and that the vibration of driving down the road would cause connections to make & loose contact, thus causing the A/C to work/not work. He removed the old connector and soldered on new wires with a new connector.
Ran the A/C all day and didn't have any problems. HOPEFULLY FOREVER!!
