I need some advice on buying a truck. My buddy has an 06 mega cab with the 5.9 Cummins in it with an auto trans. The truck has 275000 miles on it. I talked to the guy that use to drive it and pull a trailer he said for the most part it's a great truck. The only thing he said was the trans is starting to act funny. The only.other thing is the truck does have some rust on the rockers ect. Now they told me I could buy it for $5000 maybe less. The guys are like my brothers. What do you guys think. It's also got newer ball joints hub bearings u joints ect.
