My lil bros 06 has had some ac problems. First the blower motor went bad, it wasnt putting out any air flow on any setting and would vibrate horribly. I replaced the blower with a used one out of a 2002 1500 and it sounds great, like its moving alot of air but its really not when you put your hand to the vents. After I installed the new blower motor the switch will not work except in the max position. Any help or ideas are appreciated. Ive used the search but couldnt pinpoint the problems from them.

 

Sounds like the recirc door. They break on the shafts & won't allow air flow.

Until you can get it fixed properly which takes removing the dash. Remove the fan motor and reach up and you will feel the recirculation door has fallen down and is covering the opening above the fan motor. You can remove this door by lifting it up and pulling it down and you will now have air flow. Search this site for more details on the better fix.

my blower motor went bad too and then my recir door. i just broke mine off. i wasnt going to spend the money or the time to take the dash appart
