Well I am seriously considering trading in my 02 for a new 06 mega cab. My truck works great for what I use it for. Daily driver and towing our RV. The main reason is for the extra space in the back seat and going with an auto trans instead of the manual trans. I only have 40k on my 02 and the wife has only driven it once since I got it. She finds it too cumbersome to shift.

For those of you that have upgraded to the new trucks from the 2nd gen do you have any regrets?

 

Not at all on the space issue. There is just so much more usable room even in the QuadCab than there was in my 01!! And the new MegaCab is absolutly great. I did not need all the extra room to justify the 1-2mpg difference in economy! I really love the MC though, a great family mover and when you lay the back seats down you can put just about anythin you could think of back there. Do yourself a favor and buy one while the Invoice Pricing is going on!!!!! Good Luck!

 

I traded my 02 in for my o6 qc and love it, never look back the power and extra space is great. Plus the new 48re seems to be a workhorse from what everyone says.

 

I sold my 03 Qcab for my 06.LOVE it lots of room for my little snot nose 2 and 4 year olds.+ sun roof DVD and exhaust brake with auto
