Smile Protective lip for my tailgate

Hey guys I've been looking for some type of protective lip for for my tailgate. Unloaded some stuff off my bed the other day and scuffed up the top edge of my tailgate. I used to have an 05 F250 and I remember that it had a plastic lip that protected the tail gate. It also had plastic trim pieces on the top of the left and right side of my bed so the paint wouldnt get scuffed. I think that the spray on bed liner would work but I think the over the rail bedliner looks fugly after the sun beats on it. I live in folsom, CA so its over 110F every summer and it tends to make line x aor rhino coatings look dried and beat up after a while. I was also considering the spoiler off of a 1500 but then I noticed that you would have tyo screw it on and make holes onto the tailgate. I definitely dont want holes in the tailgate. If anyone knows of a website or a specific retailer that sell something like this please let me know about it. Thnx fellas.

My factory bedliner rolls over the edge of the tailgate.

Do a search on the web , you'll find lots of Parts Houses that sell many shapes and prices. If I remember correctly I got mine at Truck Customizers.com. It has tape on it so the install requires no drilling , seems to be OK so far.

Have the spray in liner done and it will be good to go.
When I had mine done, they asked if I wanted over the rails or not.

Mopar tailgate spoiler is what I went with...had the dealer do it, since it required drilling and the charge was minimal. Maybe around $100.

I had mine sprayed, but then I also put a full diamond plate cover over the tailgate with a lip that goes about an inch down the outside.

I went to pickemup truck store and they had a lip protector on the shelf. Took about 30 seconds to install, cost about $30.

that spoiler thing is actually supposed to help pick up .05mpg... It helps the aerodynamics and come standard on the 1500s now because they have to have the fuel ratings on gas trucks.
