Wisconsin requires the first emission test on my 2009.
Wisconsin dose OBD cumunication only, no visual check for dpf & cat.
Anyone think it will pass with a smarty?

Do they do an "opacity" test on the exhaust? If so, I would say NO,.....it will not pass if your Smarty is on any setting above maybe "1." I would suggest just downloading the Smarty Program BEFORE you go to the inspection station.

No, they do not do an opacity test, just the OBD comunication.

 

Please tell me you live in the southeast part of the state. I'm hoping I'm still free and clear up north.

Yes, waukesha county.
If I lived 1 mile further west in jefferson county there is no testing.

I would think you would be ok. Im sure they are just looking for codes for emission troubles and those shouldnt exist with the Smarty.

Mine passed everything fine here in CA with Smarty on SW3. Passed the OBD and smoke test. Just didn't pass the darn visual... You should be just fine.
