Smarty 67ME software
It has been a while since I've reviewed the site and current information available. With that said it was that time of year this past weekend for me to find the stuff that fell off my truck for the day and visit Jiffy Smog. I usually visit MADS and see if there is an update to the 67ME program (obviously since I am in the middle East) afterwards. To my surprise the ME is no longer available or supported. Am I to understand correctly that the new emission legal programs allow you to hook up the EGR and run code free? Does it shut egr and regen off? Should I stick with what I have or update to the most recent file? I am running file S67V619BR28ME. I don't have any issues and mileage and power has been great. Probably why I haven't been here in a while. Life has been great with the deletes. Anyway....suggestions?

I suggest you stick with what you have. I am very happy and have not had any issues as well and this is because of the ME Programmer and Deletes... Regarding the non ME software, this keeps the EGR and just commands it to 0% EGR... It still must do the regens and such though.

The three major programers are under scrutiny from the EPA, that's why the "ME" software was removed. I'm not sure what the latest MADS update did, but I agree with "mega", I would keep what you have if it's working to your liking. I'm still on 27ME, and it's great for me.
