yes I had the same problem but not with the xcelerator they use overseas back up files is the problem (xcelerator, Diablo,) at least Diablo does, Smarty did not work in my truck. John at Floor it Diesel fixed my problem I dont know if Bob has a fix for it yet or if they want to fix the problem or can. but was it worth it. I tell you it was, Smarty/TST/Dr Performance stack it is stupid power for a 1 ton truck. I also have other mods to support the stack, Hope this helps you out and taking it to a dealer will only up date the current file you have in the ecu. overseas file in the truck overseas file gets updated

Some one clue me in here...I've had my xcelerator in and out of my truck numerous times without so much as a hickup? Is this a common issue related to PPE? I'm on my 3rd software update - not because of problems just for the latest & greatest tune.

During one of the PPE updates I had a power pup program loaded, no problems...Perhaps I got lucky. I have been pleased with the PPE thus far. Initial version I had would stack the 3/4 shift unless I was on it hard, and timing came on hard & early in the performance setting making cold (pre normal operating temp) drivability cumbersome. With the consequent updates said issues are gone.
