Here is a quick rundown of my current issue. I have a 2008 with 93,000 miles on it. I am losing coolant, no leaks, was told it is going into my exhaust via the egr cooler. On a cold starup I can actually smell the coolant and see water coming out my exhaust tip. I have a complete egr delete on order. I have a MADS s67, I last updated it in July of 2012, I wrote 6.11A down on a piece of paper in the case. I have been told I need the ME, on the piece of paper I also wrote down R15ME and R24S. I am thinking R24S was the latest version. I am also hoping the R15ME is the ME I need for the delete's. Since MADS no longer lists the ME on their website how can I tell if I have the ME on my s67? Or can I do a current update on MADS with out removing the ME on the s67 if it is on the tuner already? Any help would be great.

 

I think if you plug the Smarty in to your ECM it will tell you what version you have...

 

And if you want the 28ME software, there are many sources.

 

I do want the ME. Can someone e-mail it to me or send it to me? I plugged in the s67, I have version 6.19 and D:R.24S. So if anyone has the latest and last version of the ME, I sure could use it.

Ok. Several people have helped me out. For whatever reason I get a Incorrect Command Line error message when I try to do anything with the updates. I cannot even get the USB or Driver downloads off MADS. Anyone near Hermiston Oregon?

The download and update instructions are all in the users guide.
If you're having problems downloading off the net then try a different computer or check your firewall settings.
After you download the drivers and such you just follow the instructions, unzip (if necessary) the tune and load it on the smarty.

 

Well after 3 days I finally got it programmed. My computer had some things that needed tweaked, I missed a step, I was in a hurry, I did not pay attention. I figure you get the idea. I just wanted to say thank you to those that helped me out.
