More afraid of self inflicted gun wound. Oh and Phil, not anywhere near there.

Sorry for the fuzzy pics. Too wiped to use the camera correctly.

Check out the outlet end of the DPF: Look how clean it is

Yes, bedtime. I am whooped! No Op plan survives initial contact. Same is true with silly plans of keeping a factory resonater in line too. The sound is perfect though. No more drone. Just a little more growl.

Put it up, measured and cut. Added orig muffler. Retry fitment. Measure second half and cut. Retry fit. Cut again. Retry fit. Paint then hang again. Test drive. Hitting the turnover ball. Take out and cut once more. Paint again. Reinstall. Payoff is worth it though. Come on 20 mpg daily.....roll the dice. Still not rolling the smoke on level 5. Mads has got his stuff together that's for sure.

On a second look, you got off easy. By not changing the down pipe you didnt have to mess with dropping the tranny cross member. Its a bit of a pain.

I bet the duals sound great too.

Well I put it back on. It would have been straight-piped without something. that's the little box looking thing in the stove pipe. Ball joints will be enough, we couldn't have tried both and got done. Thanks.

Not easy? I did the clutch on my 06 4x4 G56 on my back. Anything is easy now. Just didn't want any fitment hassle IF I have to go back stock for any reason. The sound is perfect!

I know it's not ineffective but it can't be that big a restriction. The two big ones were more of a problem. The amount of soot in front of the cat shows that plenty was getting through the first one but not through that DPF. I couldn't get my hand dirty rubbing the inside of it or any piping behind it. McMopar walks around to the back and asks "what's wrong with your truck?" Not seeing any soot or dust on the back freaked him out.

I told Porterfield I was gonna have a truck as clean as either of his. I even have a clean tailpipe inside.

Man I wish I lived near you guys. I might be able to manage this on my own, but much rather have experienced hands to help.

Might be a good winter project. Too hot here now to do anything like this.

I'll have to buy a pipe more than likely. Can't see myself making something, just don't have the skills.

It's not that hard at all, man. Where do you live?

Air tools help a lot, and an extra pair of hands. Other than that, if you can take nuts and bolts apart, and line up two pieces of pipe, you're in there.
