I just got the S67 last week, ran it on sw 5 for awhile now back to sw 3 for testing. Also have edge insight for monitoring, boost fooler on the way and egr unplugged. I'm way curious what people with the 68 auto tranny are finding for strength after a period of time running the different tunes!

I'm actually surprised I didn't notice a lot more punch running sw5, it was noticeable but not as much as I had hoped.

Is there a big difference with the S67 with the EGR unplugged or not? I was advised not to unplug it.

With the stock software, 40 hp.. I noticed a significant change in engine performance with it unplugged and the Smarty. Leave it plugged in.

Mr. Lucky, leave the EGR plugged in. Read MADS information on their site. Doesn't need to be unplugged and it actually robs some power unplugging it.

Also, your smarty does boost fooling so you don't need that!

Saving you money and finding power. You are Mr. Lucky!!!

Nah, still having fun and changing the settings. I'll start behaving once I do the Blacktec switch.

Ahhh... the Blacktec system... Nothing like the smell of un-catted diesel in the morning!

Took a trip to Austin this weekend. About 150 miles round trip. See about 15.5 mpg on the on board. That is about a 2 mpg over no SMARTY. The truck has a LOT more power when accelerating. Still only about 4600 miles on the truck - so I figure there will be more improvement as I put more miles on it.

Yeah It took about 15000 to 16000 miles with my truck stock to see any mileage gain during break in. Did the deletes at 17000.

Additional thought

Found it...

FAQ section from MADS website...

"Q. Does Smarty do the boost fooling function?

A. Yes, all the the softwares in Smarty have modified boost tables in order to allow higher boost without defuelling.
( Except ;SW # 0 and of course Stock ) No external boost fooler is required!"

Now Im not sure that you CANT run with a boost fooler, but the Smarty does do its own fooling...

Thanks for the heads up Mega - I'll try is as soon as I pick her up from the Line-x dealer today. Hopefully they are cleaning up the million or so bits of overspray that ended up on every square inch of my brand new babies paint, windows, mirrors, hell it's even on top of the cab!

The entire truck feels something like used sandpaper, thousands of the bits are visible
