I have all the deleats Smarty jr. installed for about a year now, an still happy. I had a (perform service) light come on the heads up display. I pluged in the sm, jr. to run the code but nothing came up. No code detected is what my programer said. Any ideas ?

 

"Perform Service" could be related to the oil change interval or CCV or Air filter restriction IIRC.

 

Air filter is a K&N cleaned an oiled last week, My truck will show oil change required on the heads up display.I'm wondering if it could be a fuel filter, but it's not running bad or sluggish even in 105 temp.

 

CCV filter like said above. How many miles?

 

Not sure what the ccv filter is mileage is 165k

 

Crank case ventilation filter... Have you had th truck since new? The last one I saw with that many miles on it without changing the ccv filter had codes stored from the filter being restricted.

 

Yes since new. on the filter is it under the valve cover itself?

 

Yep, its under the top cover on top of the valve cover.
