Need EFI Live HELP! Getting poor customer service
I have a question about the EFI Live. I am about to do all the deletes off my truck and I do know that this tuner will delete the bluetec crap from the computer programming. my brother has a tuner for his truck and he can only use the tunes like three times and then it has to be either sent back to the company to get retuned (for a fee) or he has to buy a new tuner. is the EFI live that way or can you switch from tune to tune all you want? and could someone please explain what the CSP switch is for? aint understanding it when I tried to read up on it. thanks for you help.
dodgediesel08,
I have the EFI live on my '09 MegaCab. Now, I'm not the techy type when it comes to these tuners; in fact, it was my son who got me interested and helped me delete the hardware and then install the tuner. To my knowledge, I'm supposed to be able to switch between power settings as often as I want.
My son introduced me to Phil, at Anarchy Diesel, (I'm not necessarily plugging them) and he has been great to work with.
So far, I'm really liking this tuner. I guess the only thing I wish I could get fixed is the "DPF Full" warning I still get somewhat regularly. I don't know if other tuners are capable of disabling that warning, but Phil told me it was something in the OEM software that they couldn't get around.

I just got off the phone with Phil and one of the guys that helped me out. tuner is on order and I can see why everyone that is getting the EFI Live is going through them. they are awesome to deal with. customer service is outstanding and saved me about 100.00 in the purchase due to I was going to get the level 2 and after talking with them it was determined that all I really needed was the Level 1. can upgrade later if necessary. cant beat that if ya ask me.
