I had the 242f code when my turbo went out. Now it's still on there and I can't get it to go off with scanner. I have the race me ultra ready to do deletes. But I read I need to get this code off before I tune. What do I do?

 

reset regenerative filter timers to get this code to clear. The vehicle will not allow the Stationery Desoot to run if the P242F DTC sets. So resetting regen timers is only way to clear this code.

 

how would I go about reseting the timers? is that something I can do with the race me ultra or does it have to be done with a star scan? if I just tune the truck would it clear that code?

 

If you flash PCM should clear code also.
