Any one here any thing on the H&S programmer? are they any good, do they compare to the smarty or edge bully dog? whats the best for the 09 1/2 trucks and a buddy of mine has a 2010 hes looking to do some stuff to, any help would be appreciated on the matter, i never heard of them but been out of the loop a while thanks to all whom responds

 

H&S builds some great tunes and programmer for these new trucks although you posted in the wrong section. H&S is the only company that has delete tunes for the 2010's at this point as well.

 

Not sure about you buddies '10 but for your 09 they're great. I have the black maxx and like it alot, I can only compare it to a Edge Comp and old Power Puck. The screen is sharp, easy to customize what ever stats you want to display, lots of nice options to control (ie whether or not screen dims when headlights are on, and how much it dims). Very easy on the fly changes. I also have a full delete and the truck shows no codes and runs awesome. They are pricey though. But I figure getting all that DPF+ was worth it for the reliability.

 

Got two friends with an XRT on one 07 and a BlackMaxx on a duramax and they both have had good luck with them and excellent power. BlackMaxx is a nice display

 

Brother just did the delete on a 08 F-450 KR, with XLT, likes it

 

H&S is a good programmer and they just released transmission tuning.

 

I have one, its works decently. Its a basically a programer with a display. Malcolm only got 360rwhp on a dyno running a blackmaxx.

I put the mini max on my 2010 programed it to run with the DPF first two power levely I could tell no differance. On the third it did help very little but the egt's were threw the roof!! I am talking 1400 post turbo

DPF delete comes on tuesday and I will re program it better run better then that!!

 

Saw a 2010 truck running a blackmaxx box, water/meth run a 15.80 at the track this weekend. To bad the 2010 ford ran a 13.80 Arg...

 

Got one on mine and did an install of one on a 10'. Haven't got a chance to try out the transmission tune yet but i highly recommend H&S products
