? on 4.5" bs 18x9 wheel with 37"x1350 toyo mt's

ok fellas, i just ordered 37x1350x18 toyo mt's on 18x9 4.5" back spaced wheel. will be going on a 07 2500 6.7 ctd. gonna order up a 6" bds lift. Think it will fit? a 4.5" bs wheel will stick out more than a 5" bs wheel right? figure more sticking out the better not too rub, right track here?

thanks,
Rob

trying to understand this, with a 4.5" bs wheel ill be sticking out more, so better chance of rubbing fenders but not control arms when turning? as opposed to 5.5" bs i may rub on turning but not on fenders?????

Thanks fellas, these are already on order so ya im probably stuck with them now.

I have 35's on my truck with a 20x10 4.5" backspacing wheel and I had to trim the air dam on the bottom of the bumper because it rubbed at full lock. when my tires are gone I am gonna put 37" toyo muds on it. I have a superlift 6" lift

Less backspacing pushes the wheel/tire outward. In doing so it lengthens the radius of the arc the wheel/tire combo follows as you steer, causing rubbing issues at the front and rear of the fender. I know it looks cool and tough to have that tire protruding from the wheel well a bit, but it really wreaks havoc on the fenders. Even with 6" of lift you'll probably need to do some plastic shaping and trimming.

Yea if anything you may have to trim the plastic on the bottom of your inner fender. can be done in 5 min with a dremel. I like the wide tire look. Some dont, so dont let them make you think your truck doesnt look good.

You will be close. I have the same 6" lift and 37's on 20x10 wheels with 4.5" backspacing and I had to have my fenders rolled and it looks great. I also replaced the BDS springs with Revtek springs which lifted the front 1". You will be close with the 1" less width on your tire but let us know.
