I just purchased a 2007 6.7 . It already has the erg and dog delete. The question I have to it didn't come with any tuner. Can I purchase any tuner so I can check what was done or run updates on it ?

 

If you like it just leave it alone. If there are problems or you're looking to make changes then you need to buy a new/different tuner and put that tune in place.

 

reason I'm asking is I keep getting an throttle valve code. It's unplugged but they never removed it.

 

If there's a wiring issue a different tune won't eliminate the code and the TCV doesn't have to be removed when deleting.
Post the code on here and we can see what the problem is.

The connector is hard to see but you're sure it's unplugged right?
