Question ? is your quad rp quage acting up ?

hey guys/gals i was just wondering if any of your quad rail pressure quages have been messing the truck up as in running.
i had to remove mine from the truck and now it runs just fine
it was causing my rail sensor to jump all around from high pressure to low pressure to shutting truck off

Or take it off and get a DiPricol gauge, after 2 low pressure sending units and the high pressure sensor connector causing problems I sold mine as is and got the DiPricol, no problems now in 6 months

Since it connects between the rail pressure sensor and the harness it can cause intermittant issues due to loose wires or an internal failure.

sending it in to get it recalibrated they will also check the internals and the wiring harness.

The DiPricol gauge has been known to cause similar problems. Switching to one may or may not solve your situation.

Maybe your connections are loose and your getting a low voltage signal. Not sure if thats exactly what its called, but I had this issue with my Quad Race when the connector came loose. The truck would sound like it was all sorts of messed up, but when I reconnected the wires better....problem solved!

Now I havent had any problems with the Quad RP gauge, but I can say I did have problems with my Commander and also its lack of function and bought Diprocols as well.....not a single problem since.

If it is a Quad X2 the programing goes bad after a while and needs to be reprogramed. Mine does it every six months. Just download the most current tune from their site and reprogram. You should be fine after that. Good Luck Tom J.
