Hey guys, im needing a stack cover for my 7'' miter, can some of you direct me to where i can find them? Thanks..........

Try Iowa80.com I purchased the stack hats. They are just heavy plastic and slide on. I think they make them for 7".

I live in the keys and we got 2 inches of rain in i think 4 hours and i never had a problem ive got 2 6 inch miters i just drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the bottom of the 90 going up to the bed hope this helps guys

i saw a setup that was sweet rain flappers for miter cuts they opened backwards and looked really clean just dont know where you wouold find them

so you guys with stack covers do you put them on every night or?? Ive had mine 3 years been though a few huricanes with it and its never had a problem at all with the drain hole and you dont hear any leak or anything just wondering if it was for snow or water

I have drain holes, but still end up with black crud all over, and my truck is black, i cant imagin how you having a white truck doesnt end up with it

mabEy it rains so much down here it washes them out haha that does make more sence are you guys belching black all the time ? chips/ tuners? i honestly dont have that problem. Somtimes a little on the roof but nothing bad at all. Thanks for explaining tho i was thinking you boys had OCD or somthing now i feal better

I purchased one today from the chrome shop mafia, its 7'' with a drawstring, i was intrested in the magnet, ones but he did say that if there is a chance metal shaving could git on it while not in use it will damage the stack, so, nogo on that...........

rain cap

I have one of the silent rain caps that flap backwards on my truck. I just put it on the other day it dosen't seal perfectly but it's better than the bucket I used previously. They are pricey from Iowa80 but it's the only place I could find them. Also if you don't want a chrome one good luck. I had to special order mine from them. I wanted bare steel but it came nickle plated, and looked like crap on my black 7" miter. I just scuffed it up with a scotchbrite pad and primed and painted it, the soot took care of the rest. Overall I like it, it gives it a raspy sound at idle, but dosen't rattle or clank around. I'll have to mess with it to see if I can get it to seal better. Good luck with what whatever you decide.
