I have the iowa80.com miter cut rain cap (Yes it is way overkill and BLING) on my 6" stack. I also wish they had a cheaper black/plain model, I painted my chrome one black. Mine seals or sets flat on my stack, but I did cut my stack pipe a true 45*. I am happy with it. It does eliminate the soot after rain problems. Occasionally when driving in a heavy rain enough water runs down the inside of the stack to spit out a little soot on the first startup, but very rare.
