Where can I find stack covers?

Hey fellow Rammers, I just threw a dual 7" mitre cut stack kit by Grand Rock and now I'm looking for some covers for the rain. I've searched and searched still can't find any. I'm looking for covers that won't damage the chrome and if its possible to put them on while still hot then awesome. But I'll settle for covers that won't damage the chrome. Please help me out because my homemade covers are pretty lame. lol

I remember quite some time ago a member on here made a nice looking homemade set of covers but he had magnets sewed on the inside so they wouldn't blow away. I don't remember who it was but maybe someone else can chime in here.

btw, got any pics of the stacks?

Google Nomex and have them made to fit.

I know your wanting the flaps that open and close, but for the time being you can use coffee cans to cover them up to keep junk from getting in.

A while back I sold a headache rack to a member, I think his user name is "1stgenstacked" something like that but he had the absolute best stack covers you can get and you don't have to remove them once installed they're really nice looking and made for mitre cut stacks.

Here's an earlier thread on the same subject. The link is post #6 for stackhat appears to still be good. They're also called muffler socks.

Here's what I use for mine. Coffee cans are too small for 7" stacks. Only cost a few bucks at Sam's Club, plus all the bubble gum you can chew. The bad thing was all the cavities my kids got from the gum. I'll get sugar free next time. Check out iowa80.com they make exhaust flappers for mitere cut stacks, and they look really good, just high dollar. Eventually I'll get one for my truck, but until then, I'll stick to the bubble gum bucket. And by the way, my stack does not get hot enough to melt the plastic. Sometimes I do forget to take it off when I go places. But I always find it laying in the bed!
