Your right VZ guess I was not specific enough...a guy could easily have a stuck injector and the ECM would never know it..happens all the time probably more then the cylinder/injector misfire code.

usually when they stick open it takes the low oil pressure light to find out...or the oil/diesel mix pouring out of the breather tube

Yea! That whole oil light thing is a bad indicator! Many times I wish that cars/trucks had more info available, and other times wish they didn't have near as much!
