I am impressed! First chance to try the Smarty on an short road trip. Went skiing in Taos for the weekend and the drive up is a combination of Freeway (75+), State Rds. (60+) and a long haul up the ski valley road. (gain of 3500ft +/-). Best I have ever averaged was 16.8 mpg. I knew I was getting better mileage based on experience, but when I filled the truck this morning and hand calculated the consumption it came out to 19.6mpg! I did the math over just to make sure. I was on SW3 on the trip up and switched to SW1 for the runs up the mountain and back home. I will have to play with both settings to see what works best.
