Question Workhorse Power Module?

I was just reading about the Workhorse Power Module on another forum. They are claiming more power and much better mileage with no egt increase? Sounds too good to be true but a few people are testing them from the forum and are confirming the claims.

http://dieselram.com/cgi-bin/ultimat...=004451#000023

And the site for the product:

Does anyone have any comments on this product? It does sound too good to be true but who knows?

That was my thought as well...except that a few people that were also skeptical have taken him up on his 90day return policy and are testing it thinking it was BS as well? Apparently they are so far finding the claims of no to very little EGT increase is so far true????? I'm still skeptical but just curious if anyone else has experience.

Check out the first 2 links in the post as these are from other websites that guys are testing out EGT's under various conditions and recording them?

I AM STILL SKEPTICAL!!!!...But????

My cousin put one on his 01 duramax and it ran good for a few miles then started to run like crud and would not go past 3rd gear. He removed it and the truck still ran bad. He figured out the instalation of it was coinsadentaly timed with the pluging of his fuel filter so it was nothing to do with the box. As far as I know he never put it back on. I do know he dont have any gages so who knows what it did to his EGTs.

I think I have confirmed the fishy factor. Upon further investigation I believe it is nothing more then a DR P 80hp module that has been re-badged. If you look at the pics on his website they are identical to the pics in the install video right up to the extra yellow and orange wires that are for on/off switch and brakesmart hookup. The only difference is the sticker on the module. In fact if you read the how it works section it is almost identical to the 'workhorse' site!

Mystery solved...

On a side note does anyone have any experience with this module then? I likely will still go with either an Edge or a Quad but haven't decided.

On the other forum the Workhorse is a Dr.P product with different tuning. Most of the power gain is in the lower rpm range with nothing on top. It appears to be just a pressure box with boost fooling.

Yeah..I've been following that. What is interesting is the real claims of no EGT change...still skeptical but it make you wonder.
