CGMORGAN Just posted how well the spool up is with the 64 while towing. I thought the super B special is a comparable 64/71/14. Is the super B that much laggier? The reason I ask is I have towed large loads (15K+)with the same turbo. It worked awesome even there the mountains is the super B That Much different??

It depends on what your description of lag is. I found you have to work it pretty good to keep it up in the boost range to tow comfortably with. But that is my opinion.

i ran the sps62/14 for over a year. towed 10k lbs. made 540/1040 on the dyno with it. only got hot when in high elevations like montana. here in washington, no egt issues at all. no surging(i have a 6speed).
