I have a dd sbc and like it but it is a little noisy. My brother has the ofe behind his 12 valve and I hauled some hay with it this summer about 20,000# and it drove like a stock clutch. he only uses his truck for pulling and never has had any problems, shifts really nice and no shudder. I haven't hauled much since the dd upgrade but what I have it has performed well also.
