Will a south bend 0FE hold up
Ive got the Con FE and it is actually really well mannered. Its easy to run on the city streets and is good on the highway. Peter told me that remember its an aggressive clutch and needs to be driven aggressively. Every now and then I have to get on it a bit, but its really pretty easy to drive. Even my girlfriend can drive it pretty well, and she rarely drives a manual.
The guy that has my old truck in my sig has a con fe in it and its very grabby. It definetly doesn't slip, the stocker didn't start slipping until I started pulling heavy with it every day. The fe is overkill for that truck, as it probably only puts down about 415ish rwhp. He needs to trade it for an ofe so the truck won't rattle your teeth out while trying to take off in 2nd.
As far as if the ofe will hold, I would yes it should hold just fine. My truck has the stock clutch still and just barely slips with around 480 rwhp and 35's. I don't see why the ofe which is rated at 450 hp wouldn't hold compared to a stock clutch which is rated to hold 350hp if that. And like stated above those clutches are rated very conservatively.

Well, I'm slipping my FE with what's in my sig. I tow a lot with this truck. At first it took a little to get used to but now I don't even think about it. All of my launches are no throttle though and that's with 10k in tow or not and in forward or reverse. I do have a hard time driving any other manual now though. I'm going to a DD this Summer. Good luck.

my injectors go in saturday, and i'll see how it holds up then. I'll let you know.
