Bully Dog PMT Issues

First off I would like to say that I like the product and Bully Dog has helped me out greatly with other issues.
However, I cant get the Idle Up feature to work and engine coolant temp at 130 deg. or so, the PMT was de-fueling the truck. I checked the de-fuel levels and it was at 210. When I called Bully Dog about the Idle Up the said "I don't know everyone else's truck seems to be ok. Well that didn't sit well with me and now I'm reaching out. Do I have a defective unit? Is my truck not responding to the PMT correctly? I also had another problem a while back with the boost gauge only reading to 23 pounds. Bully Dog said that I had a problem with my truck. Well... the problem seemed to work it's self out because now I see upward of 30 to 34 pounds. Any help here? Has any one been having similar problems? Thanks for everyones help that responds.

Hey Ramble bee-

Have you heard anything from buddy IRT the new programs that are due this year? I still have the PMT, although it is for sale, but if my truck doesn't sell I am keeping it and am curious when they are coming out.. I too have the early beta CL like you, I said the heck with the touchscreen didn't want to lose the real power.

ramble bee: I am running a 2007 5.9L with download V1.0.1.1. I had the beta CL but I have a stock trans wand didn't want to blow it up.

Also, the truck was throwing a code... I called Bully Dog and they were able to help me out, but, somehow it changed the VIN in the ECU and some sort of security code was thrown.

Mine also defuels every once and a while because of coolant temp. It will be normal then shoot up to 310 or so. After it defuels to stock, the reading will go back to normal. Weird.

I agree, it is an excellent tool.
However, with a MSRP of over $1000.00 and with all the glitches... I almost wish they waited to release the unit until it was 100%. Unless this is an isolated issue, which I hope it is.

We are looking at the way we do engine temp on the PMT again and I don't anticipate it will be long before I have a fix. I will keep you updated.

Welcome back Buddy.

Do you have a fix or an answer for the idle up feature not working. Thank you for your help.

I don't think so. On the set up I don't change anything (speed limiter, rev, loend tq... so an and so forth.)
