Will I hit 12s?

Hey guys I have a couple questions...I'm currently running a 13.6 @ 98 with just smarty tnt and a htt 62 turbo everything else stock. I'd like to break down into the 12.7 range. I'm thinking about sending my htt in to get it upgraded to a 66 and throw in some 90hp ddps and be done with it. How would the drivability be and do ya'll think it would get me where I want to be? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'm tryin not to blow too much more money on this thing but the bug has bitten me again Thanks guys

Smaller tires and harder launches! I don't see upgraded fuel pump, you will need that. You might need cp3 upgrade to get there. I was in the 12.7s with mine before the sticks and cp3 mod, but it took triple stack TST/EZ/Smarty and hard launches on 33s with my II SPS66.

I hope to be at DHRA Texas Nationals and see what it will run with the Flux 2s, II Bag of Parts and Smarty TNT.

You have a sick truck...I'm gonna put injectors in first and see how my truck runs with them in..so far I have not had a fuel delivery problem..even when i stacked the smarty tnt and tst on 3-0. How well would you say you that 66 lights? I would do smaller tires but it looks funny on my truck so I'd like to do it on 35s. I'm gonna go to a 35'' bfg all terrain or pro comp to cut down on some of the weight, the mud grapplers are very heavy. Thanks for the replies keep em comin, can never learn too much

I ran BFG 315 A/Ts for almost 3 years. The best I did with 315s was around 13.2, but that was on early Smarty not beta.

When I removed the leveling kit and switched to the BFG 285 A/Ts I picked up probably .2 of a second.

My II SPS66 is a little laggy for daily driving, but I have had it over 3 years now and learned to live withit. Not bad with the Trans/TC upgrade and plenty of power with the TST/EZ/Smarty stack. I probably would not like towing heavy with my setup, but I am happy with it. I am really happy with the new Flux 2s, just have not had time to load TNT and run it hard.

Thanks for the replies guys..both wicked fast trucks. I'm gonna put 90hp ddps in first and see how my truck runs with injectors smarty tnt and my 62 turbo and see where that gets me. If it is starving for more fuel I'll start upgradin my fuel system. I know my 35s and 20s are killin me right now the best 60ft I can get is a 1.96. I'm hopin if go to an at in the same size it might help, being they weigh less but who knows..

I ran a 12.18 on 35's :-) Stockers lowered me to a 11.93(would be better but they spin like crazy in 4wd).

I run in the mid 11's but I just broke a billet intermediate shaft launching at about 15psi on the 1-2 shift, 4wd. This was with smarty at 5. What do ya'll think?

DodgeCTD, the best dollar for dollar upgrade you could make right now would be to buy a set of stock rims and 3/4 worn out stock tires. Air them down to 35 in the rear and 50 up front and launch at 15psi. Obviously if you want to run 12's in your current "street trim", you'll need more air and fuel.

With 90 hp sticks your quarter mile time will drop with out a modded cp3 or twins. I have a floor it stage 2 and my 50s drain my rail if i add any pressure to tnt. For not wanting to spend alot of money i would stop where you are.

I have a set of stock wheels and tires laying around for when I'm feeling froggy and not going to the deer lease, and my truck is SO MUCH quicker. Even 35s kill low end launching and times. My goal is to put street 285s or 33/12.50/17s on my stock wheels for hauling butt.
