I have a 2004.4 ram diesel. I am in process of waiting for my edge juice attitude with hot unlock. If i set attitude to HOT unlock and run a intake like ****** whistler and delete cat and stock muffler, will i see 500 engine HP over the stock 325 HP?

 

Very doubtful...... Probably be in the 380-400 range.

 

With just the J/A (hot) and an intake mod? Nope, at least not at the rear tires.

You won't have enough fuel...

 

You have to remember one thing about that 325 rating, it's at the crank, not the rear tires. The Juice will most likely give you the 180 at the tires but you'll still be a little short.

 

Don't go by crank HP. Your truck stock will dyno between 260-275 at the wheels. With the Hot Juice you will be looking at 430-450 at the wheels.

 

thats what i mean. i know 325 is at the crank. and edge boasts that hot unlock will raise crank HP up 180. So 325 + 180 =505 Crank HP. either way you look at it i will be gaining 180 HP right. so if my rwhp now is 250 it will go up to 430 rwhp. right?

And why wouldnt i have enough fuel. the edge will give me more fuel thats what it does.

 

Need a new LP, Exhaust, and tranny you will probably see 430Hp at the wheels. Look at MadHat's numbers you will be close to that. He has an MP-8 where you will not.

 

it does add fuel but, if it is asking for more fuel than your stock system can deliver then you will end up draining the rail and not making the power that you should

 

i will have exhaust ill have 4 inch str8 pipe with a aero4040xl in their. no cat no muffler. whats a mp-8?

 

As said ^^^, you will not have enough fuel supplied from the stock pump to generate that power for long.

 

MP-8 is a pressure box by TST.

 

One of the most commonly used pressure boxes ever sold. Stacks great with just about anything as long as it doesn't add pressure. As for the fuel issue these guys are talking about...... they aren't saying you will need more fueling to make more power; they are saying you will need more fuel to support the Hot Juice. In other words, a new lift pump system like a Walbro, FASS, or AirDog setup.
