Man, I have been out of the loop since my truck was new in '03, but unless that is the name of a product I don't know about, the block heater plug is already there. It is behind the grill on the passenger side.

Never used it, but loooked for it once.

If my response it innappropriate, please disregard.

this is a new item, at least in genos catalog. it connects to the block heater cord, bolts to the front bumper and has a 110v male receptacle, eliminating the cord blowing around in the wind. i might give it a try even if no one else has.

My truck did not come with the heater cord, guess our climate down here in NM is considered too mild and the grid heater is all Dodge thinks we need.

I got a cord and the mounting bracket from Geno's. It was easy to install. The bracket really makes the whole cord thing nice. Nothing to blow around, nothing to fish out to use, just open the cap and plug it in.

To me it was worth it's price.

Over priced in my opinion. look in my gallery and see what I used. I think it is the same dang connector. I love the way mine is routed now. No cord flopping arounf. It is well hidden under the front plate. Pop the cap and plug the cord in.

good luck

I have the Wigidiget on my truck. Easy to install. The instructions say to cut the heater cord and wire directly to the Wigidiget. I didn't like that idea so I got an extra cord at the hardware store and wired that to the wigidiget then plugged that into the truck heater cord. There is an opening in the bumper on each side of the license plate. It has a pre-drilled hole that I atached to. It is a really handy gadget that works well. Had mine for a couple years.
