Who wants some Juice?
Did they tell you just one more month?
As for hooking it up, I am looking at a pic of the Juice/Attitude right now in the TDR mag, and all it has is the injector plugs, map sensor, attitude wires, and pyro leads. I wonder if they can input injection or timing signals via the firing order instead of cam and crank sensors? It sounds kind of hard and far fetched but I think it could be possible. The pic is above the TST with all its wires and plugs.

That doesn't sound like what everyone was expecting. I think Tom nailed it with that statement
.......it can't. It would appear that they may be squeezing out a few degrees advance from a custom map program like the RAMifier does with it's low boost fooling. If that is the case, then it doesn't "do" timing like we were expecting. Just gets you a few degrees advance when you really get on it...nothing at cruise.
Hopefully there proves to be more to it than meets the eye, because if everyone waited this long for a VA C3.2 with RAMifier mapping, what a disappointment.

careful here. aggressive low boost fooling can't influence timing advance at peak horsepower levels any more than traditional aggressive pressure fooling-- remember that at sustained peak output (peak boost levels) there is no longer any enhanced low-boost fueling to be had; boost is capped at some peak level to avoid ECM de-fueling and setting the overboost code. also remember that, for example, the volumizer does low boost fooling, ramping up the boost signal faster than stock. yet we don't say it does timing advance, even though it connects to cam and crank. In fact, my experience shows that the Volumizer (very aggressive, smoking low boost fooling) behaves like all the other pressure boxes in terms of EGT at peak output. This suggests that compared to traditional pressure fooling, the enhanced low boost fueling (at least in the Volumizer) has no practical (substantial or measureable) timing advance that benefits anyone above what the other pressure boxes can do. There may be some benefit during acceleration only of course.
So I highly doubt that the Juice relies on Ramifier style boost fooling. no way, in my opinion. Edge demonstrated in the 2nd gen that they know how to low-boost fool; thats a low end nice-to-have but not a major driver of peak horsepower performance. They appear to be doing real timing advance. And I know for a fact that the Juice box does NOT perform C3.2 style duration. The VA is limited by the high voltage supply and its ability to hold the injector open. the Edge box appears (like TST) to supply its own high voltage supply and connects directly to the injector harness. It can hold the injector open as long as it wants to.
keep in mind my work is on the 305.
As for the ability of the Juice to perform timing advance via the CAN-bus, recall that performance boxes for 2nd gen trucks perform timing advance via this interface. I don't have personal experience here and I don't know the limitations of this method. I'm only aware that the Edge Juice performs timing via the CAN-bus without connecting to the cam and crank sensors. that means they do it in the digital domain. good for them. I feel a TST versus Juice comparison in my future, and an EGT study as part of that to study actual timing advance...
i waited two years and they say just another day or two ormaybe three
yea sayo JUST BUY THE BULLYDOG DOWNLOADER AND OUTLOOK AND BE HAPPY SMOOOOOTH POWER AND ITTT IS AVAILABLE FOR ALOT LESS BUCKS AND IT DOES IT ALL TIM, DUR,BOOST REMAP MINE RUNS LIKE A STRIPPAD A** APE AND PULLS CHEVYS UP HILLS WITH MY TRAILER AND NO WAITING MINE ON NOW NOT NEXT WEEK NEXT DAY OR SOMETIME ENOUGH ALREADY.

Since the TST is rather problematic on my truck (sputter...sputter...miss...miss), I was anxiously awaiting the Juice to give it a try. Lets hope your right Doug, for the sake of the folks that have been waiting for two years.

last I heard it was a new box altogether -- timing and duration, and that there might be some sort of trade-in program since the new box is intended to replace, not stack with the 3.2. But don't take my word for it -- that was several months ago and I havent heard a peep from them in a long time.
Hello all,
I've been lurking awhile and this site is great. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Here goes, sorry its so long.
I too was waiting on the juice, but got tired of waiting. I put a TST on 1200miles ago (last weekend) and so far nothing but excellence. No codes, no miss, idles a little different sometimes but that's it. I have it staked with an edge ez one #1 setting. I'm in construction and tow alot, weight and miles. I can't turn TST above 2x1 or clutch will slip at low to mid rpm's. Milage seems to have improved towing quite a bit although I can't see how because I've been playing with the settings and ******* it all week. It now growls when making power(timing I figure) which reminds me of my 2nd gen 24 vavle and I like it!
The only complant I have is the pyro I was sent. It isn't long enough to get a good reading on ex. temps. I thought temps were about 250-300 degres low so I just put my di-pricol back in the maniflod and sure enough they were. Don't get me wrong, it's hard to get temps to 1300 towing on 2x1 and ez #1 but TST was reading 1000-1050. I'm going to see if I can find another (longer) thermocumpler (spelling?) and see if that fixes it. It is mounted pre turbo.I had moved the pricol to post turbo but now switch it back so I can watch temps. I would like to get it fixed, what's the use have a de-fueling feature if it doesn't know it's hot!!
I don't know to fill out my sig yet but I have a '04 3500 slt reg.cab 4x4 6speed ATS ex. maniflod, straight pipe with 4" glasspack, redline lubes, with di pricol pyro, boost, fuel press. on pillar with 40000 on the clock. I've had great luck with truck so far. Had a clutch master/slave combo replaced under warr. (got where it stuck 3/4 way up)and a ujoint on rear driveline (out of my pocket $128 dealer oouch!!)and that's it. Got my Airdog in this week and I must say what a quality unit it seems to be. Can't wait to get it on. Fuel press. goes to vacuum right now above 2700 rpm.
As far as edge goes, I think they are a great company with great produts. I bet the juice will be a winner. My dad has a juice on a 2002 chevy dmax same as my truck except with allison and loooves it. It stays on 4 all the time unless towing.120000 miles maintnance free on dmax, batterys are going south quick with this cooler weather we are having it tx right now. I may have to jump him off this moring!! Please don't flame me to hard for talking about a Dmax, at least it's not a F@#d!!!
