Question Who makes the best Computer Ugrades for an 04 Dodge?

Who makes the best computer upgrades for an 04 Cummings? I am also in the market for an exhaust brake that will support a 48RE. I know I am probably done on the exhaust brake.

welcome, the best computer module in my opinion is the quad. I started off with the standard box, and just recently upgraded to the race. I love it. And the price is good too.

I LOVE my TST. If you are going to run an exhaust brake, GET A T/C and V/B or that trans will NOT last.

i recently went from my quad xzt standard 65-hp tow modual to the juice with attitude and i must say i LOVE juice waaaaay better that the quad box .. hey, no doubt the quad box is a good value and like i have said in other posts is makes really good dyno number for a small hp box .. but it wasn't without it's issues .. i had it back for a re-flash in around july for missing and surging and load/wot and the probelm never was resolved , plus it made some pretty high egt's for a 65hp box .. with the juice with attitude it is a little more pricy than the quad box but the power , the lower egt's than the quad box , the missing and surging are completly gone .. and oh it makes smooth power .. plus the added saftey features of the gauges built into the attitude monitior .. my vote is for the juice with attitude .

read, read , read. that is what helped me. Most people like what they have. so I tend to look for the negatives then try to decide if the negative is valid. For example the main negative for the juice was people wanted to add more power than the 100hp. where other boxes the negative may be elevated egt's. now this is a deal breaker to me. I did not wanter higher egts.

my sugestions would be just a nice box with decent power

edge juice

now a Box that has tons of power potential for future

tst powermax

the tst has adjustibility that no other competator can match right now but is also overkill unless you are going to mod the truck IMO for the money.

those are the two options I prefer right now. I did the juice because I don't plan on going completely crazy. 100hp and an upgraded tranny are where I am quiting. If I want to go faster I will buy a gsxr-1000 or something.

yeah there again though you go from 100hp to 180hp in one step. I think the tst would be a better choice. being able to take the power up in steps. I whish the hot model was like 60-90-120-150-180. I would have bought it right out of the gate then.

Spooler,

Juice Attitude is the box to have for most folks, you need the gauges and they are included and easy to install too. Followed closely by the Bully Dog Triple Dog and Outlook monitor combo.
