My black with silver accent XD Spys will be here Thursday.

I'm kind of leaning towards Mickey Thompson MTZs(315/70R17) and they are white lettered tires

I've always been a big fan of white letter tires but I've never had black rims.

Anyone have any pictures?

I think it will distract the eye from admiring the wheel. I'd do black out.

 

Could be unique though... I'd have to see them mounted.

Personally I would do the black letters out....I think the white letters on tires look terrible. My .02!

White letters out look bad. Really bad. Thats all i have to say about that.

 

White letters out remind me of Nascar! When I had my stock rims powdercoated black, I put on the Goodyear Wrangler MTR's and they wore really weird on the outside, so rather than get rid of them after 20K, I flipped the tires around on the rim and ended up with the white letters facing out, and I ended up getting compliments about them. I still thought it looked like I was just a Nascar fan

let me see if I can dig up some pics from the 70's and 80's... sure to be plenty of pics of white letter tires to choose from!

 

I have always been a fan of white letterr tires, and always will be. Every set of tires I have ever had on any of my vehicles has been white lettered. Just my .02

 

I have those same wheels on my truck!! I really like them and I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on mine (black wall)
