Some of you all might have followed my "help" thread while on vacation, and then the photos of what happened when I returned. I have been through a couple of tanks using the stock replacement hydros. It seems, even when the rod is adjusted almost as long as it goes, things are not completely disengaged. Do you all think the light duty parts are starting to feel the stress?

John was it professionally installed? Do you shim the hydro kit extra to keep it tighter in the firewall?

The shim/lil' gasket is in there and it is definitely clicked over all the way.

My Sb hydros seem like they do not all the clutch to disengage all the way. I've adjusted it all kinds of ways too?

My pedal is definitely less firm with the stock master slave vs. the SBC unit. I also get some creeping with the stocker, too. Before I made the upgrade I went through a handful of stock units because they would just fade away over a relatively short time. As the clutch wears (primarily the discs and pressure plate) the disengagement gets worse, too.
