I had mounted my CB under the center seat cushion in the bottom storage. After having it there for a couple months it just didn't work. So I set out for another spot.

Here is what I came up with. Both cup holders are still usable and the back of the radio does not interfere with the passanger leg room. Line of site and reach are good from the driver's seat.

There are others on here that have many good ideas, take a look through the search and see what you like.

The mount is a RAM mount which works well. The radio is mounted to this

The arm is 4.63" long

And the base is screwed to the floor with 3 sheet metal screws

Cost of the mount is $48.80 from Express Mounts. Just order part #s RAM-201U, RAM-202U, RAM-111BU.

The Mic is hung from the back of the information center with one of these

Picked it up at the local truck stop for $16.99. I am still out on this as it will take some getting use to. I need to find a better place for the mic but don't want it draped across the center console.

I moved my center console back 2" with some brackets I made and them made a mount for the CB. It works good, I just need to get a 90° connector for the antenna so I can lower the CB another inch or so. And I need to hardwire the power lines.

I put mine on the floorboard up to the console on the drivers side. Kind of down by my feet.
