I think my walbro pump died this morning, does anyone know where to get a fast replacement? thanks.

 

call Richard... he'll get one out to you over night. Other than that... you can find them on ebay.

 

GDP has replacements for about $100~ they could overnite if that works for you...

How long has it been in?

yes he is a stand up guy had the same prob. talked with him on new years eve told me he would get me one on the way no questions asked now just waiting thank goodness they thought about the bypass plug!

 

I have been looking for a Walbro pump. The walbro kit 392 with kit 400939 on ebay says the barbed fitting is for a 5/16 fuel line. Where Do you find a kit for our 3/8 line or do you just buy the pump and look for the fittings.

 

I just got off the phone with Rich. My pump makes some wierd growling noises sometimes. He's sending me a new pump It makes all the difference in the world when you're dealing with someone that backs the product they sell.

 

I will try to call him tomarrow, It was sitting all day and tonight it started and fuel pressure climed slowly and the pump was wining loud. I drove it across town to get it home and even very light throttle would drop pressure quickly and then slowly build back up when i would coast.

 

I kinda had the same problem and when i was checking it out i pinched off the return line after the check valve(not the bypass valve) and fuel pressure went up i just got the check valve from Richard and will put it this weekend!
