When to program?

I got a '07 CTD 5.9 with 6k miles and was wondering if it would be ok to run the Smarty programmer. I decided on Smarty or Bully dog. I dont haul or pull any heavy loads, just want some power and smoke to play around with.

That is fine. I have the bullydog on my 06. My dad has an 07 with the 5.9 in it and that is what he runs as well. I'm not sure about the smarty but the BDTD will work on it.

Smarty & '07

Smarty still claims to be undetectable at the dealer after restoration to stock.

Smarty doesnt have on the fly adjustability like the bullydog offers which is very nice feature and the power in the 2.4.D is so smooth. Not trying to bash on the smarty just like the on the fly of the bullydog.
