Wheel Backspacing with flares?

Will a 4.5" backspacing Dick Cepec DC1 wheel 18x9 "fit" ok with a 2" fender flare? Or will the flare be sticking out to much with not enough tire filling in the space?

Also...Do you think they will rub with a 33" tire

I have some Weld rims, with 4.5" of backspacing, on my old 2001 and it looked great with the flares.

i had 17x9's with 4.53" bs and with 2 1/2" or so of flare, the wheels/tires stuck out past the flares a noticeable amount. imo my new wheels (17x8.5 with 5" bs) look MUCH better as they sit even with the flares.

I've got Pro Comps 18x9 w/ 4.75" backspacing and 35" nitto mudgrapplers... no flares but the wheel/tires sit about 3" out from the sheetmetal.

33" tires shouldn't rub at all

I just got the 20x9 DC-1 rims with 4.5" back spacing, and I have BW fender flares. They stick out a bit more than the flares, (maybe 1/2") but I think it looks cool!
I've got 305-55-20's and they are rubbing on something still I'll have to try and figure out on what soon.

Thanks for the info...I do like the look of the tries filling up the flare. I'll have to check on the backsapcing I can get with the DC-1 wheels.

i believe those wheels have only one bs and offset option per wheel size. 4.5 " with neg offset is your only option, i think.
