I had a Geno's supplied isolator/gauge that worked perfect for seven years and 30 baja trips on my '99.

I don't know if it's illegal or not but I could care less. I ran fuel straight to my gauge and have been for the last 5 years with no problems or nothing. I use a needle valve to stop the pulsation from the injection pump and my gauge is rock steady.

 

Either the bottom of the filter or the CP3, that's what I did, pics in my gallery.
