Question What temp to start adding power?

I was curious as the commander has the function that allows you to turn your module on once the engine reaches a certain temp, what is the minimum temp that the engine should be at before you start adding power?

I have mine set at 160°, but if you want to be really safe I know my old Juice didn't add power until 174°

The Edge 174* number was explained as full operational operating temperature. Seemed reasonable. I know when I get on mine with the TST before it is past that temp I usually throw a P0336 code. Not good to create high boost on cold parts.

I leave my power "on" all the time. At first I used to worry about it, but I know I'm smart and not abusive. I just exercise restraint and wait 'til the needle's in it's right spot before hammering on the throttle. Personally I would set it at 174° or above. My TST has never to my knowledge caused a code unless I lug it below 1200 by accident.

My greatest worry is the effect of 55psi of boost on a cold head/head gasket. I don't think it would put up with it for long.
