What Size Spacers Will I Need Between The Duals?

what size spacers will i need to put some 295/70/17 nitto terra grapplers under the rear of my truck? a buddy has them on his truck with about a 2 1/2" spacer and they have a BIG gap between them. just curious what some of you have done!!! thanks

I had 2" spacers between my 35s and had a good bit of gap. Around an inch at least.

I think anything less than 2"s and you gota cut the lugs. Might as well do 305s or 315s with a 2" spacer.

what do you mean by cut the lugs? i wasnt aware of any modification other than the adapters!

Meaning the studs will stick out past the adapters. Measure how long your studs are and that's the minimum adapter you can run without cutting part of the studs off.

Exactly, thank you, I should have been more specific.


I have no experience with the 295s but I do have 305s on my truck. To me the gap is not excessive, but it would look better with 315s

I run 2"ers on my daully with 35's and I think the space looks good. I put on alot of miles loaded heavy and haul heavy with no troubles.

i agree that the spacer would look better with 305's or 315's......I just dont want a odd looking gap between them ya know!
