What shocks will work with 4.5" fabtech?
Any ideas on what shocks would work with a 4.5" front 1" rear Fabtech suspension kit? I don't like the Fabtech shocks and want to run a Bilstein but am not sure if they have a part number that will work. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Edit: To clarify I currently have a 6" superlift but am going back to my original 4.5" fabtech. Superlift kit is nice but I decided not to regear and am going back to 35" tires. I previously ran this Fabtech kit for 10,000 miles and the Fabtech shocks are completely shot.

Yes the Fabtech kit retains the factory shock tower. I am looking to spend as little as possible to get good shocks. Bilstein 5100 would be ideal. I am not too interested in the nitrogen race shocks because of the ongoing maintanence required.
Go Bilsteen 5100's then...
Cut down the OEM overload (the fat spring in the rear) if you want the best possible performance. If it is just 12" long...instead of 30", and you mount/fab up traction bars, and use air bags if you need the load capacity back...you will be very happy on a budget.

Call suspensionconnection.com or jackit.com or shocks.com...

Bistein's have been having alot of valve issues from what I've heard I went with Fox they are re-builable and very durable I caught about 4' of air at the dunes with no issues. Kore also makes some very nice systems and they use Fox. Check out there website they have some trucks catching big air and lifted 6". P.S. if you can afford the remote res. it's worth the money.
