Question what gauges to get

If you had 6 spots to fill up what guages would you get? So far i have autometer phantoms which are a boost, tranny, pryo, and air gauge. I need to get two more and dont know which ones to get so what do you think

I would say definitely fuel pressure and rail pressure-- if possible. Don't think autometer can help you with the rail though. DiPricol make a gauge that is close to the phantom for the rail IIRC.

If you were like me, and had twin turbos, you could have another boost gauge in the cold pipe between turbos You know like the commercial, double your pleasure and double your fun!!

OIL PRESSURE is a must! The factory unit is a guestimate at best. It is a calculated figure determined by engine temp and time running. Mine reads low cold, low hot and high at hot idle. Not very dependable! Autometer phantom was my choice as well!

I dont know how high the fuel pressure is, I guess it would depend on the pump. A drive pressure gauge lets you know how much back pressure you are generating in the exhaust manifold. Kinda like a boost gauge and you use it to try and stay ahead of a popped head gasket and/or charger.

I dont know if they do or not. I am getting ready to buy/build one myself. I dont know if there is a specific gauge for it or not. If there is it would be called either a drive pressure gauge or a back pressure gauge. I havent seen one for sale yet but I havent looked real hard either. I think a boost gauge with an isolator would work but I am not sure. I will let you know and hopefully someone smarter than me will chime in here.
