If talking about a Lift Pump, I would go Walbro from Glacier Diesel.

if i get one, its going to be a gdp.

the fass is to bulky for me...at least the ones ive seen, and the reports of them being noisy turn me away! there is no doubt that the fass will support very high hp though

Hellsbelles Rusty, I could buy two of those BD lift pumps for the price of a GDP , keep one in the truck for a spare.

just my .02 cent...

The BD kit doesn't come with everything the GDP does. It's a inline pump where the GDP kit has you install a whole other feed line into the tank. It also doesn't come with a tried and true fuel pump like the walbro. In fact it looks pretty cheap. The GDP also comes with a pressure relief valve and fuel return.

The walbro can be had for $100 or a little more and be kept in the glove box for replacement. If installed with this in mind, it would take 30 minutes to replace it using only a cresent wrench on the side of the road.

The FASS apparently has done something about how loud they were but, the pump it integrated in the filter housing. If you were to have a problem... it's not a quick fix.

Richard's kit may be a little more in cost than others that can be had but, you have to consider convenience, it will cost you more with anything. Richard has already taken the time figured out what should be used, put the kit together and market it. All this cost money and I don't know about you guys but, being in business is about making money.

The walbro pump moves more fuel than most will ever use. Other than maybe a pulling truck... where would you ever use 95 to 200gph ? There's no need for that big a pump on your average ride :-)
