Anyways...just trying to help...citing real world personal experiences and experiences of others in your same shoes. You EGT's will be much happier with Flux's than honed.

Yeah, but my wallet is much happier with the DDPs. I'm about tapped out on this truck for a while.

I'm a little confused about your post previous to this one. So you are saying that you think I will lose rail pressure with the DDPs but would not with the Fluxs? I'm not sure if that's what you were saying when you said "with the right injectors it will do that...not 90hp honed."

Yes...that is what I am saying. I would pick 40-50 hp honed over 90 hp honed. I would pick any Flux over any of those honed.

I bet you could make more power with 40-50 hp honed than the 90 hp.

DDP will not tell you that...because they are selling honed injectors.

If you are tapped out on the truck...I would not spend any money on injectors till you can afford EDM's. You can make over 600 hp on stock injectors in 4.5's and newer with the right electronics, air, and fuel supply.

Just a thought.

I didn't decide on injectors. I let John at Floor It call Lenny at DDP and the two of them talked about my truck and decided on 90hp rather than the 50s. I don't want to start a "who's right" war, but I talked to John about Flux tips as well and we talked about my set up, my goal, and my money, and he said to go with the DDPs. I'm not going to say that the honed are as good as the EDMed, and John certainly didn't say that either, but for where I'm at, and the price difference and down time and what I'm after, hopefully these will do the trick.

As far as over 600hp on stock injectors. There are VERY FEW truck in that category and they all have much larger turbos than mine. Also, for example, Lucas's truck has a crazy ECM that doesn't care what the pulse duration is doing and doesn't apply any safety holdback like most trucks.
Anyway, my truck is a daily driver and a tower. Not a strip and sled truck. A big turbo would not suit my needs, and neither would a high hp downloader that I can't control on the fly. If the injectors work well, I may not even keep the Diablosport downloader, because I may not like not being able to turn the power down far enough.

I hope the smoke from the honed injectors does not affect your daily driver plan.
